Aikido Training Line®
Aikido Training Line® is a unique kinesthetic learning method based on the principles and practices of the Japanese martial art Aikido. The method helps to deeper understand the concepts, facilitates the real-world application and long-lasting effect of the newfound skills.
The uniqueness of the method lies in the opportunity to experience and practice skills that could otherwise only be explained, such as proactivity, situational awareness, presence, impact, centering and balance.
The inside-out approach, combined with the physical experience of concepts, using metaphors and stories, makes the method highly engaging and effective.
How does it work?
The Aikido Training Line® method encourages participants to discover knowledge by themselves. By doing so, they generate knowledge instead of simply absorbing new information. Explanations are reduced and the focus is shifted on demonstrations, metaphors, stories and practice. The whole brain is engaged and deeper learning occurs.
Rather than memorizing the correct answer and depending on an expert authority for it, participants create their own understanding.
The Aikido Training Line® has many different applications. Some of our most popular training programs designed with the method include: conflict management, leadership development, business negotiation, personal effectiveness, stress management, public speaking skills, proactivity, adapting to change and many more.
When is the method an ideal solution?
When there is a need to change the mindset and attitudes of managers and teams, removing possible resistance through personal experience and developing awareness.
To practically develop awareness, calm confidence and authenticity, which are the basis for good judgment and self-control.
To unlock potential, i.e. real and effective application of the acquired knowledge and tools.
To deepen skills and mastery in application - for example, from commercial negotiations to strategic negotiations in an intercultural environment or from conflict management to dealing with aggression and difficult behaviors.
“Ani and Toshko's ability to weave the wisdom of the East into modern concepts for effective communication in the workplace is impressive. Delicately, with an exceptional sense of timing, they present the information through the basic principles of Aikido, so that the theory passes through the senses in the body.
All of us, participating in their author's programs, never stop rediscovering the potential of our inner center and we are carried away by the power of peace and centering.
With the support and guidance of Ani and Toshko, we at SEEBURGER Bulgaria have rediscovered the art and ease of communicating and managing people.
For the third year in a row, we have trusted HeatDS and their transformative programs.”
